Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, plus Medical Assisting certification and BLS. One year of medical assisting experience is preferred; Medical Assisting degree is also preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assisting Certification (CMA/CCMA/RMA) is required.
• BLS certification by AHA is required.
• 1 year of medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtain medical history and vital signs.
• Triage patients and document in the EHR.
• Reconcile medications in the EHR.
• Assist physician in exam room and minor procedures.
• Schedule tests, surgeries, or admissions.
• Explain procedures to patients and families.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and general office duties.
