Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant - Certified to join our patient-centered primary care teams in Washington. The MA will function as a central hub, performing injections, charting, patient intake, and coordination with providers and care coordinators to ensure timely, quality care.

Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred, with MA-C certification and completion of an approved MA program.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an MA-C program and hold MA-C certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly desired.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic, honesty, dependability.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
• Able to read/write in English; Spanish preferred.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Proficient with standard software (Word/Excel/Outlook); willing to learn SharePoint, Arcadia, EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Track and document clinical measures and outcomes.
• Coordinate and process patient referrals with care team.
• Assist providers with injections, rooming and charting.
• Maintain infection control, HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
• Support QA activities, staff training, and policy adherence.
