Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the physician's daily operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, and assisting with exams, procedures and patient education under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include triage, vitals, documentation, EKG/Phlebotomy as applicable, and maintaining courteous interactions with patients and staff. Requires MA program or 3 years experience, MA certification, and BLS; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required through one of the listed boards (90 days to obtain).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Sign-on bonus offered for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with daily operations of the office.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with exams, procedures and patient education.
• Perform triage, monitor and record vitals of visiting patients.
• Ensure medical documentation of office visits.
• Perform EKG and Phlebotomy as applicable.
• Maintain friendly, courteous interactions with patients and staff.
