Job summary

Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) seeks a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians and deliver compassionate care to patients. You will prepare exam rooms, collect and document symptoms, perform basic labs and ECGs, and assist with procedures.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification, high school diploma, BLS, and strong communication skills. A bilingual ability is a plus, with opportunities to work across clinic areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Program Certification via NAHP upon hire or within 6 months.
• BLS Certification required or obtained upon hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for the exam room.
• Observe, interview, and document patient symptoms.
• Conduct basic lab testing, ECG, and related procedures.
• Measure vital signs and assist with procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and equipment standards.
• Sterilize supplies and restock examination rooms.
• Operate EMR and support front office tasks like scheduling.
