Job summary

AdventHealth in Oviedo, Florida is seeking a full-time clinical assistant to support clinic operations across tasks from patient intake to medication reconciliation. You will ensure efficient office flow, document results in the system, and maintain compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.

The role requires High School graduation, BLS and CMA/CMAC/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certifications, and at least 1+ year of related experience preferred. Pay ranges from $17.28 to $27.65 per hour.

• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage stress.

• Proficient English communication and typing.
• Experience with computers required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, testing, and documentation in the practice system.
• Prepare patients and equipment, support general clinic operations.
• Maintain confidentiality of staff and patient information.
• Support team by assisting patients, visitors, and co-workers as needed.
• Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet guidance.
