Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required; CPR certification must be obtained within 6 months.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Initial Intake – Greet and escort patients, verify insurance and medical history, record vital signs.
• Patient Room Preparation, Before and After Care – Prepare exam rooms, clean and disinfect, assist during examinations, manage waste.
• Patient Order – Process orders for labs, imaging and other tests; maintain patient records with timely communication.
• Point of Care – Perform testing and document results in EHR; calibrate equipment as required.
• Patient Safety – Follow HIPAA, report safety concerns, assist in emergencies and participate in staff meetings.
