Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical care under supervision, with responsibilities including room setup, patient prep, vital signs, and basic testing. Successful candidates will hold a CMA certification and have strong communication skills to interact with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam room, treatment room, supplies and instruments.
• Prepares patients for physician visit and examination assisting as directed.
• Takes patient's vital signs and records in medical chart.
• Performs EKG, PFT, Audiometry and other tests as indicated.
• Maintains patient records and files reports.
• Assists with collections/billing procedures as needed.
