Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a provider team in our Matthews, NC practice. You will help coordinate patient flow, prepare rooms, and assist with basic clinical tasks in a safe, compassionate environment.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, current CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or ability to obtain within six months, and a valid state driver’s license for palliative care duties. Prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required.
• Current State Driver's License (Palliative Care Only), required.
• Previous work in a medical office is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain certification or registration by end of six months and sign education agreement.
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
