Serene Nursing Services in the greater Seattle metro area is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support healthcare teams with patient care and administrative tasks. This contract role emphasizes accurate records, medication administration, and compassionate patient service.

You will work with nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care, perform vital signs, prepare patients, assist with coding and billing, and maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of hospital medicine, anatomy, and medical-surgical practices.
• Excellent patient service skills with compassionate care.
• Familiarity with coding practices is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
