Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to assist in providing clinical care under the supervision of a licensed professional and to deliver clerical office assistance. The role includes preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, and supporting lab testing as needed.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred), and strong communication skills to serve diverse populations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms, supplies and instruments.
• Assists with patient preparation for physician visits and examinations.
• Measures and records vital signs and documents in the medical chart.
• Performs or assists with EKG, PFT, Audiometry, Titmus Test and other lab testing as directed.
• Maintains patient records and supports billing procedures as needed.
• Uses computer software to manage office systems and maintain confidentiality.
