Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical care under supervision of a nurse or physician. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, taking vitals, recording in charts, performing EKG and lab tests, and assisting with clerical tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam room, treatment room, supplies and instruments.
• Takes patient vital signs and records in medical chart.
• Performs EKG, phlebotomy and other lab testing as indicated.
• Maintains patient records and files.
• Uses computer software to maintain office systems.
• Respects patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
