Valley Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Luckow Pavilion location to support clinical and front desk duties. You will perform patient intake, collect specimens, coordinate with pharmacy calls, and document results in the EMR with attention to licensure and policy compliance.

The role includes front desk tasks such as patient registration, billing, insurance processing, and ensuring safe visit protocols. A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus formal Medical Assistant program.
• Current and valid MA or RMA certification recognized by the Board (AMT/AAMA/NCCT).
• Previous MA experience in a clinic/physician office or outpatient setting with data entry/clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, blood draw, EKG and tests as ordered.
• Document accurately in EMR per licensure and VMG policies.
• Front desk duties: patient registration, billing, insurance, safe visit protocols.
• Collaborate with practice staff to ensure proper workflow and treatment.
