Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support providers at Hollywood Primary Care Clinic. You will obtain patient histories, record vital signs, administer injections or vaccines, collect specimens, perform basic phlebotomy, prepare exam rooms and assist with scheduling and front desk duties as needed.

Prior CMA certification and CPR are required, and at least one year of CMA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of CMA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient history, vitals, and medications in the medical record.
• Collect and transport specimens; perform basic phlebotomy as required.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies; sterilize instruments.
• Operate clinical equipment and assist with patient scheduling.
• Perform front desk duties and clerical tasks as needed.
