Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and be a Certified Medical Assistant.
• One year of clinic experience preferred; phlebotomy and customer service experience are assets.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and team-oriented skills required; BCLS certification within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and answer calls.
• Initiate patient care assessments, gather vital signs, and prep exam rooms.
• Collect specimens and provide patient education and support to patients, families and physicians.
• Return patient phone calls and coordinate with the clinical team.
