Job summary

The NATIVE Project is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Medical department and support a multidisciplinary team. You will assist providers with procedures, educate patients, and help maintain efficient clinic flow in a welcoming, culturally respectful environment.

Required: WA DOH Medical Assisting license, AAMP program, BLS/CPR, and 3+ years in a community health or hospital setting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited AAMP program with proof of WA DOH Medical Assisting license.
• Maintain BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 3 years in a community health or hospital setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support providers with clinical procedures and charting.
• Assist with patient education and clinic flow to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Take vitals, prep patients for exams, and assist with injections and phlebotomy.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Handle communications, scheduling, and prior authorizations as needed.
