Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for an outpatient clinic setting. The CMA will provide patient care, administrative support, and clinical duties to help keep the clinic running smoothly.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited CMA program and CMA or RMA certification. The role involves EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, room prep, patient education, and maintaining infection control. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred; CMA or RMA certification required from recognized agencies.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow protocols are essential.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient information
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient preparations
• Perform direct patient care such as EKGs and wound dressings
• Administer medications and collect laboratory specimens
• Phlebotomy and processing of lab tasks
• Support clerical tasks including scheduling and documentation
• Ensure patient safety, privacy and infection control
