Job summary

Sunrise Community Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Aims Student Health & Wellness Center in Greeley, CO. The role involves clinical and administrative duties under the supervision of medical providers, including vital signs, patient intake, phlebotomy, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• 0-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage for patients and assist providers.
• Schedule appointments and record vital signs and medical histories in the EHR.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with procedures.
• Draw blood and administer medications as directed by providers.
• Maintain clean and stocked examination rooms and ensure proper clinic flow.
• Explain treatments and instructions to patients and coordinate follow-up care.
