Job summary

Pandya Medical Center in Alpharetta, GA seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support Providers and maintain efficient patient flow. You will perform clinical tasks, assist during exams, document vitals, and educate patients under supervision.

Responsibilities include managing lab results, maintaining sterile exam rooms, and handling calls and messages. Requires CMA/RMA, BLS, and EMR proficiency; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current CMA/RMA certification required per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures under supervision of the Provider.
• Assist Providers during examinations and procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs in the medical record.
• Provide patient education as directed by the Provider.
• Review and file reports, lab results, and documentation in the patient record.
• Maintain exam rooms with supplies and sterilization procedures.
• Manage incoming calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries within scope.
• Triage and route messages to Providers in a timely manner.
• Maintain clinical logs and safety checks, including temp logs and medication monitoring.
• Comply with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Clinical Lead or Office Manager.
