Job summary

Sanitas is expanding across the United States and is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations in Surprise, AZ. The role involves assisting with patient care, collecting vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and supporting physicians under the direction of a licensed Independent Provider.

Candidates must have CMA or RMA certification, BLS, and at least one year of healthcare experience; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or RMA certification.
• 1+ year in healthcare field.
• High school diploma and accredited medical assisting program.
• Active BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and exams: take vital signs, record histories, prep exam rooms.
• Perform venipuncture, administer injections and vaccines, assist with minor procedures.
• Administer medications per licensed provider orders and scope of practice.
• Conduct CLIA-waived tests and quality control for lab equipment.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control; ensure PPE usage.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and safeguard patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow; assist with pre-visit planning and follow-ups.
