Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and CPR certification (or within 4 months of hiring).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate clearly with patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under provider supervision.
• Prepare patients for exams and document medical histories.
• Manage and safeguard patient records and coding as directed.
• Schedule referrals and follow-ups; assist with prescriptions per provider instructions.
• Coordinate with insurers/pharmacies for prior authorizations.
