Sky-Lakes-Medical-Center in Oregon is seeking a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant in the OH Neurology department. This full-time, on-site role offers an hourly wage range of $18.22 to $26.87 and requires CMA certification within 15 months of hire, CPR, and prior patient care experience.

You will prepare patients, assist clinicians, manage records and scheduling, administer injections and medications, and support a warm, confidential clinical environment.

Formación

• Must obtain CMA/MA certification within 15 months of hire.
• AHA CPR certification required within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• At least 1 year MA experience; 3 months certification prep time.
• Strong communication and confidentiality.
• Ability to work in multi-specialty settings and fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patient for assessment and treatment with clinician.
• Assist clinician with office procedures.
• Sort patient reports for clinician's review daily.
• Maintain instruments and clean work areas; send to sterile processing.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed.
• Telephone counseling of patients under supervision.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals.
• Document care and education provided to patients.
