Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in an ambulatory setting. You will assist with intake, record vitals, update medication lists, and document in the EHR while helping with office procedures and patient education.

The successful candidate will have a HS diploma, CMA data conversion credentials, BLS, and 0–1 year ambulatory experience. This is an onsite role at One Hospital Road with 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ambulatory medical office experience 0-1 year; recent within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of patient care according to standards and procedures.
• Perform patient intake, verify identity, record vitals, and update medication lists.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EHR and document accurately.
• Prepare and assist with office procedures and specimens, maintain sterile technique.
• Perform administrative tasks: scheduling, in-basket messages, referrals, and chart scanning.
