Job summary

Tower Health is seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to support clinical and clerical functions at its Berks County facilities. The MA will collect patient information, screen and delegate tasks, and assist clinicians during examinations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling, EMR updates, rooming patients, taking histories, vital signs, and supporting the care team to maintain smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (MA) is required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Proficient computer and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, screen, and act on delegation from a provider, RN or LPN.
• Clerical tasks: greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, update EMR.
• Room patients, take histories, record vital signs, prep exam room, explain procedures.
• Assist physician, NP or PA during examinations and manage patient flow.
