Job description

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

General Summary:

Assist with patient examination and treatment under the supervision of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with treatments ordered by the provider, performing select clinical duties under supervision.
2. Interview patients, measure vital signs, and document information in patients' charts. Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
3. Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
4. Manage supplies by ordering and stocking, and help maintain a clean environment.
5. Document provider-patient encounters, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Transcribe orders for labs, radiology, and medications as directed.

Schedule:

Full-time days: Monday to Friday, with shifts varying from 7:45 AM to 8:00 PM.

Location:

Novi, MI

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).
• Medical Assistant certification within 3 months of hire (any issuing authority accepted).

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of applicable experience.
• Note: Professional licensure or certification can substitute for education or experience if applicable.

Experience:

• Prior experience preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or CNA in good standing through recognized bodies (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA).
