Job Type: PRN – Variable

Schedule: 5x8, Days (8:00 AM-5:00 PM), No Weekends

How you'll contribute

• Provides basic patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Monitors and records vital signs, intake and output, and reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and ambulation.
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings.
• Maintains patient rooms and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Supports nursing and physician staff with patient care activities and unit workflow.
• Manages tech desk operations and assists with maintaining efficient department throughput.
• Documents patient care and activities in accordance with hospital and unit standards.
• Participates in required education, competency validation, and performance improvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What to expect

• Clinic Volume: 7–14 patients daily
• Staffing Model: Up to 8 patients: 1 Nurse + 1 CMA; Over 8 patients: 2 Nurses + 2 CMAs
• Unit Type: Post‑Acute Clinic
• Care Model: Collaborative team approach (RNs, LPNs, CMAs)

What we’re looking for

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Certifications: National Medical Assistant Certification; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Handle with Care certification preferred.
