Position: Certified Medical Assistant or MOA Urgent Care

Location: OSF Saint Francis Medical Center

Job Type: Full-time, Entry level

Salary: $20.41 - $24.01/hour for CMA; $17.60/hour for MOA

Overview

Join our Urgent Care team to work with diverse patients and medical needs. As a Care Guide, you will manage registration, vitals, clinical care, and ensure a seamless patient experience. Enjoy 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling, and be part of a dynamic environment that offers variety and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect payments
• Assist with patient rooming and clinical care
• Support provider during patient visits
• Discharge and follow-up with patients
• Act as a patient advocate and ensure excellent customer service
• Float to various facilities as needed

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certificate of Completion from a medical assistant program or equivalent experience
• Certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA
• CPR/BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire
• Excellent communication and computer skills

Preferred

• Previous experience as a medical assistant or CNA
• Knowledge of medical terminology, Epic, phlebotomy, and injections

Moa Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• CPR/BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire
• Minimum 6 months experience with computers and clinical settings
