UnityPoint Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Oncology and Hematology team in Moline. This role supports patient exams, treatments, and education, working Monday–Friday with a 40-hour workweek.

Salary range for this position is $21.20–$31.80 per hour, with benefits included in the Total Rewards program. The department focuses on oncology and hematology patient care, aiming to deliver high-quality clinical support.

Qualifications

• Requires CMA certification from an accredited program (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, NCMA, NAHP, AAH, ARMA or NHCA).
• Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures.
• Room patients and record histories, vitals, and document in EHR.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per licensure scope.
• Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Valid and current certification for Medical Assisting
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, NCMA, NAHP, AAH, ARMA or NHCA)
  • Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
