Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinic operations, coordinate patient care, and monitor schedules in a fast-paced multispecialty setting.

The role requires BLS and CMA/CMAC/RMA/NCMCCCMA/NRCMA certifications, a high school diploma, and 1+ year of related experience. Travel to Naperville may be required. Schedule: Mon/Tue/Thu 8a-5p, Wed 8a-7p, Fri 8a-2p (1 Friday every 6 weeks 8a-5p).

Responsibilities

• Conducts training sessions and reviews patient care protocols; ensures infection prevention guidelines.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to implement best practices and maintains high standards of care.

Job Description:

Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants

Primary Address: 396 Remington Blvd, Ste 131, Bolingbrook, IL 60440 (may travel to clinic in Naperville)

Schedule Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 8a-5p, Wednesday 8a-7p, Friday 8a-2p (1 Friday every 6 weeks 8a-5p for phone coverage)

• Serves as the point of contact for daily clinic operations, assessing and resolving issues or escalating them as needed.
• Supports relationship-based care and maintains accountability for organizational mission and core values.
