Revive Orthopedics Spine & Sports Medicine is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/ Nursing Assistant bilingual in Spanish and English for a part-time role in Stockbridge and Peachtree City. You will support physicians with a range of clinical tasks, patient care, and documentation, with travel between locations as needed.

The ideal candidate holds CMA/RMA or CNA certification, has 1–2 years of medical assistant experience (orthopedic preferred), and is proficient with EHR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CMA/RMA or CNA certification mandatory.
• 1–2 years medical assistant experience, orthopedic/specialty clinic preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required; ability to travel between clinics.
• Proficient in EHR and patient documentation; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms; collect medical history and document in charts.
• Assist physicians with injections, aspirations, casts and pre-op prep.
• Manage patient charts; handle forms for FMLA, disability, and medical docs.
• Record vital signs; wound care; collect samples for testing; patient instructions.
• Coordinate lab and imaging; review results and follow up with physicians.
• Maintain exam rooms and inventory; follow OSHA and sterile technique guidelines.

Position Summary

ReVive Orthopedics Spine & Sports Medicine is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This role supports physicians in patient care and assists with a variety of clinical tasks to ensure high-quality service and efficient practice operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both clinical procedures and patient support, while also maintaining a patient-centered, compassionate approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Intake and Preparation: Escort patients from the waiting area to examination rooms, gather medical history, and document information in electronic charts.
• Clinical Assistance: Assist physicians with injections, aspirations, cast applications, and other in-office procedures; provide pre-op clinic prep, attach necessary diagnostic reports to notes, and prepare patients as needed.
• Patient Documentation and Record Keeping: Manage patient charts, ensuring all pertinent information, diagnostic images, and notes are organized and accessible for physicians; complete patient forms for FMLA, disability, and other medical documentation needs.
• Routine Patient Care: Record vital signs, assist with wound care, and collect samples (blood, urine) for testing; instruct patients on post-care instructions such as medication, crutches, or exercise.
• Lab and Imaging Coordination: Obtain and review lab and imaging results, ensure patient follow-up on test outcomes, and handle related physician orders.
• Clinic Maintenance and Supplies: Maintain exam rooms, oversee biohazard waste disposal, monitor supply inventory, and adhere to OSHA and sterile technique guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required
• Experience: 1-2 years in a medical assistant role, preferably within an orthopedic or specialty clinic.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Ability to travel between all our clinic locations
• Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
  • Strong patient interaction and communication skills
  • Ability to assist with a range of clinical procedures
• Physical Requirements: Ability to move and stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
