Job Summary: The Medical Assistant will support Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologists, and patients through various tasks such as patient care management, organization, and communication. The role requires accurate, high-quality, and timely completion of activities, aligned with our mission to redefine value and access to quality care through an effortless experience, a culture of care, and community integration. Minimum Requirements:
Certifications: BLS required at hire; additional certifications such as CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA are required or must be obtained within 15 months of hire. Alternative certifications like Nursing, EMT, CNA, or CPOE are also accepted with specific requirements.
Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of medical office systems, excellent communication, organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and patient management software. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrate service-oriented behavior.
Essential Functions include: Patient registration, scheduling, provider referrals, patient communication, preparing patients for exams, conducting physical tests and point-of-care testing, maintaining supplies and records, handling correspondence, and performing opening/closing duties.
