Job Details

• Assist in providing clinical care to office patients as delegated by the supervising provider.
• Manage the provider’s daily schedule and patient flow to expedite care and maximize clinical time.
• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, check two-patient identifiers, and communicate task status to the provider.
• Obtain relevant information and take vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, etc.).
• Input clinical information into the electronic health record accurately and timely, and collect home medication lists.
• Assist clinicians with procedures and tests, keep patients informed about visit status, and manage exam rooms and supplies.
• Administer routine injections under supervision, document accurately, and participate in meetings and trainings.
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and stay current with healthcare resources.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with post-secondary training.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Proficient with electronic medical records and office applications.
• Minimum of two years’ clinical experience preferred.

Position Details

Purpose: Provide high-quality support in the MACC practice, delivering excellent customer service.

Schedule: 16 hours/week, M-F, no weekends or holidays. Sign-on bonus available.
