What We Offer

Novant Health Neurology & Headache SouthPark is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant!

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Join Novant Health Neurology & Headache SouthPark as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and help provide compassionate, personalized care to patients. You’ll work alongside a collaborative clinical team while building meaningful relationships with patients and supporting them throughout their care journey.

This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience working with neurology patients or in a medical office setting, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply!

What You’ll Do
  • Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and other relevant clinical information.
  • Assist providers with in-office procedures, including Botox treatments and other patient care activities.
  • Complete and maintain accurate patient documentation, forms, and medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with providers and patients to coordinate care, address questions, and ensure a positive patient experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
    • CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
    • CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA)
    • RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
    • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
    • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
    • American Allied Health (AAH)
    • RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
  • Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required. Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required.
  • Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
