Certified Medical Assistant (Male only required)

We are hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team of talented medical professionals, assisting practitioners conducting one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Lancaster, PA.

  • Employment Status: Full Time
  • Compensation: Hourly position
  • Benefits: Competitive package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, accrued PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k) plan

Requirements:

  • Male Medical Assistant required for this role. The Lancaster, PA facility provides patients with options for either male or female Medical Assistants for sensitive exams, but this posting is specifically for a male Medical Assistant to fulfill staffing needs.
  • Maintains unrestricted and in good standing CMA certification, if required by state.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited course, if required by state.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Successful passing of NACI background check.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License and willingness to travel between locations.
  • Minimum three years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Willingness to complete CAOCH and Drug Testing Collection Certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Veterans, Service Members, and Federal Employees.
  • Experience with EKG, PFTs, ABIs, venipuncture, lab processing.
  • Certification in Audio and Drug Testing Collection.

Job Summary:

  • Assist providers with patient prep, minor procedures, and patient education.
  • Perform patient and lab tests such as EKG, PFTs, and vision testing.
  • Under supervision, perform phlebotomy, PFTs, ABI, EKG, vital signs.
  • Escort/chaperone patients as per policy.
  • Support clinical team and provide clerical backup as needed.
