Williamsburg Urgent Care in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced team. The role supports physicians with patient exams, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and front/back office duties in a patient-centered environment.

We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants who are committed to delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate will hold CMA certification and have experience in urgent or primary care settings, with strong communication

Formación

• CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA) is required.
• Experience in urgent care, primary care, or clinical setting preferred.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and clinical back-office procedures.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures
• Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
• Prepare and room patients in a timely and professional manner
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system
• Sterilize and prepare exam rooms and medical equipment between patients
• Support front and back office operations as needed in an urgent care setting
