Job Summary

We have 2 shifts available:

  1. M 11:30am-8pm, Tu 7:45am-5pm, W 7:45am-5pm, Th 7:45am-5pm, & F 7:45am-2pm
  2. OR M 7:30am-5pm, Tu 6:45am-6pm, W & Th 6:45am-5pm, Fri OFF

The Medical Assistant (MA) is positioned within the workforce to gather, screen, communicate, and act based on delegation from a provider, registered nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse, as per scope of practice.

  • The MA performs a combination of clerical and direct patient care duties.
  • Clerical responsibilities include greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and updating patients' electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Clinical responsibilities include rooming patients, taking medical histories, recording vital signs, preparing exam rooms for procedures, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for examinations, facilitating patient flow through the office, and assisting the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant during examinations.

Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.
