Description

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to support our Meridian Clinic!

Purpose
The Medical Assistant (MA) shall be accountable for 1) providing excellent direct patient care alongside our providers, 2) supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care, and 3) maintaining accurate and complete documentation within the patient’s medical record.

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm, with opportunities for Saturday and evening clinics.

Qualifications
Education
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program and certification as a Medical Assistant or registration as a Medical Assistant.
Licensure / Certification
  • Currently certified by American Medical Technologists, American Association of Medical Assistants, American Registry of Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurse, or other accredited certifying organization.
Experience
  • Entry level; previous medical assistant experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a primary care clinic / outpatient setting preferred.
Other:
  • Our organization is a tobacco-free workplace.
  • Immunizations are required for all staff, including an annual influenza vaccine. Staff unable to be vaccinated due to medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs must apply for vaccination exemption prior to employment.
