Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support patient care under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, managing exam rooms, handling patient intake, and ensuring efficient clinic operations with excellent service.

The role requires CMA certification (AAMA or NCMA) and BCLS, with 0-1 years in a medical setting or externship completion. No immigration sponsorship offered at this time.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required.
• CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT certification required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, suture removal, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, urine tests, EKGs, and splints.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties including reporting test results, triage, and documenting medical information.
• Reviews and maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties including pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, verifying insurance, and clinic communications.
• Maintains an organized workload and provides prompt, courteous service to providers and patients.
• Monitors and requisitions clinic supplies to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
• Performs other duties and maintains regular attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
