Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Garland, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant II to support Pulmonary & Sleep Services. This full-time, weekday position involves clinical tasks under physician guidance and administrative duties such as scheduling and staff training.

You will assist with examinations, prepare treatment rooms, record patient history and vital signs, perform routine tests, and help maintain a compassionate, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be CMA from NCMA, CMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or other approved certifying bodies.
• BLS certification within 30 days of joining.
• Strong patient care and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist during examinations under physician guidance.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness.
• Greet and prepare patients for exams.
• Record medical history and vital signs.
• Perform routine tests and collect specimens.
• Administer medications as instructed by physician.
• Support scheduling and staff training.
• Participate in team huddles to boost productivity.
