Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Certification by an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities.
• A team-focused mindset with a patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting statistics and preparing patients for visits.
• Prepare patients for visits and assist providers during examinations.
• Assist with basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Communicate observed changes in patient condition to medical staff.
• Document patient care provided accurately.
• Perform duties including filing, reception, scheduling, scribing, data entry, and patient registration.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and examination areas.
