Responsibilities

• Handles patient intake, updates medical records, and administers screening tools.
• Records medical information and test results, conducts interviews, and records vital signs.
• Collects specimens and administers medication under physician supervision.
• Assists with walk-in and scheduled visits, ensures data accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintains accreditation readiness and adjusts practice schedules as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the certified medical assistant scope and holistic, patient-centered care.
• Guides patients through the health care system and helps them reach scheduled appointments on time.
• Provides emotional support aligned with the patient’s plan of care.
• Assists with referrals to appropriate specialists for diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
