Job summary

The role emphasizes collaboration with the healthcare team, patient education, and adherence to safety and privacy guidelines. A Medical Assistant program credential and BLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• National Certification for Medical Assistants.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic patient care under RN/MD direction.
• Carry out doctor orders and document patient data.
• Perform venous blood draws and administer medications as prescribed.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate communication among staff.
