Job summary

Requirements include CMA or CCMA certification, high school diploma or GED, and CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA or CCMA by NHA required.
• If certified by another agency, AAMA or NHA certification must be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures to prepare patients and/or research participants for treatment or protocol.
• Assist physician or healthcare team member with completion of treatment/protocol.
• Perform simple, non-invasive patient procedures according to policy or protocol; may perform clerical/lab duties.
