The Vicksburg Clinic, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care under a medical provider’s supervision. This role supports clinical and administrative functions, including taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of CMA externship or related clinical experience.
• Certification CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT is required.
• Proficiency with medical record systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures such as vital signs, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, and splinting.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits.
• Manage patient intake, including triage, test results, and documentation.
• Review and maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Support pre-registration, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and clinic communications.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to patients and visitors.
• Monitor supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and function.
• Educate patients on medications and health topics.
