Job summary

Center for Primary Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in a full-time, on-site role. The position involves greeting patients, scheduling, and maintaining records while assisting providers with exams and procedures.

The CMA will document in the Electronic Medical Records system, administer medications, prepare exam rooms, and help maintain smooth patient flow. A minimum of one year of medical office experience and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Registered MA, Certified MA, or current LPN required.
• Minimum of one year of Medical Office experience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.
• Ability to type.
• Ability to identify emergent medical situations.
• Demonstrate positive customer service skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment, multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and maintain patient records.
• Assist providers with exams and procedures as needed.
• Administer medications and injections per provider orders.
• Document information in the Electronic Medical Record system.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and ready.
• Maintain patient flow and coordinate with other areas of the office.
