Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and organized Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, traveling to patients’ homes or medical facilities, and ensuring the utmost patient care and satisfaction.
- Please note that this job is a temp, 1099 position.***
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Check vital signs.
- Review medical history.
- Address chief complaints.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
- Perform EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic tests.
Administrative Duties:
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHRs).
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages.
- Handle correspondence, billing, and medical documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is strongly preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus.
- CPR / AED preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Work Environment:
- Traveling to patients located in their homes or medical facilities.
- May require standing for extended periods and some lifting.
- May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other health hazards.
Pay rate: $20.00 per hour with mileage reimbursement.
