Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Must graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program including pharmacology and medication administration. Certification/registry must be obtained by the last day of the sixth month of hire. Accepted certifications include CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), among others. Alternatively, relevant work experience or nursing graduation may qualify.
• Experience: Previous work in a medical office is preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification or ability to obtain within 6 months as CMA, RMA, or CCMA is required.
• Skills: Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing.
