Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant-type role to support clinical operations, prepare patients and equipment for procedures, and document results in the practice system. You will help maintain safety policies and ensure smooth office flow.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and CPR certification with CMA/ RMA certifications may be expected. 1+ year of related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and document results in the system.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety policies.
• Ensure efficient office flow and accurate documentation.
• Support clinic operations and travel as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures and complete annual competencies.

Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 3000 Medical Park Dr City: Tampa State: Florida Postal Code: 33613

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.

Stays up to date and familiar with all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Maintains education requirements for the position and demonstrates competency through annual clinical competencies and written tests.

Ensures efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, and documenting results in the practice’s designated system.

Maintains OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance, following safety processes and policies.
