Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced clinical setting and a passion for providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients with check-in, intake, and appointment prep
  • Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.)
  • Interview patients, document medical history, and confirm visit reason
  • Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, and office tasks
  • Schedule surgeries and prepare pre-admission and consent documentation
  • Manage EMR documentation and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Communicate physician instructions and answer patient questions
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment
  • Adhere to facility procedures and legal regulations

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
  • 2–3 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical terminology
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and high standards of care
