Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current NCMA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in family practice preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as a team.
• CPR/BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask with EHR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical support before, during and after examinations.
• Prepare exam rooms and lab space each morning and ensure equipment is ready.
• Review patient charts and coordinate care using EHR and vaccine databases.
• Assist health care providers during examinations and vaccinations.
• Process referrals, orders, and prior authorizations for services.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
