AdventHealth in Ormond Beach is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a full-time capacity. The role encompasses patient intake, vital signs, medication administration, and documentation in the practice system.

Responsibilities include patient education, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. Requires High School Grad or Equiv and BLS certification; 1+ year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of related work experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Multiple medical certifications/licenses listed in job postings may be preferred or required.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical intake including screenings, vital signs, and history.
• Document results in the practice’s designated system.
• Assist with medication administration and patient care during visits.
• Educate patients regarding tests, medications, and diet with clear instructions.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies and functioning equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information and ensure safety compliance.
